Arakis Space Systems is building one connected path from curiosity to career in space, for learners and employers everywhere.
Start LearningPartner with usListen to the podcastThe space industry is growing all over the world, but the road into it is scattered. Good courses are hard to find, mentors are out of reach, and companies and agencies struggle to find people who are ready to work. Large parts of the world's talent, including Africa's young and ambitious population, are barely tapped at all. Talent is everywhere. The pathway isn't.
We're building that pathway.
Online courses that take you from the basics of space science and technology to job-ready skills. Built for learners anywhere in the world.
Start LearningLearning is faster with someone who has walked the road. We'll connect learners worldwide with practitioners, researchers and engineers who can guide, challenge and open doors.
Skills only matter if they lead somewhere. We'll link trained, motivated people from every region with the universities, agencies and companies around the world that need them.
Conversations on the people, missions and ideas shaping the space industry, from around the world, including voices too often left out.

Follow @StanfordBankxArakis Space Systems was founded by Agi-Otto "Stanford Bankx" Chirunim in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Since 2025, Stanford has focused on space communications, hosting The Launch Deck Podcast and the daily series 100k Days of Spaceflight. Along the way, one thing became clear: interest in space is huge everywhere, but the path into the industry is broken. Arakis exists to fix that path, for everyone.
Nigeria has one of the world's youngest populations, a national space agency, and a deep pool of engineers, scientists and builders. It is where Arakis was born, and a place where the gap between talent and opportunity is plain to see. If we can build a pathway that works here, we can build one that works anywhere. Nigeria is our launch base, not our limit.
Stanford was selected as one of 100 delegates for the SG[Nigeria] × ASEIC Delegate Scholarship 2026. He is presenting at the Africa Space Economy, Innovation & Communication Conference (ASEICC) in Abuja, 24–27 November 2026:
"Building the Operating System for Space Education: Why Nigeria Must Lead Africa's Space Talent Pipeline."
